Are you talking about the LooseUDP patch? If so, its to help
UDP-based Internet games work through IP Masq.

What eth card do you have? Sounds like a bug.

The multiple interfaces thing is fine. The first line being ***
means the first hop has "ICMP Time Exceeded" disabled.
