I am sure this is a really dumb question, but I'll ask anyway.
Why do we call modprobe for the ip_masq_... modules in the rc.local
script?
Is it for performance, i.e.: early loading, or for some other reason?
Masquerading seems to work even without the modprobe statements (at
least in RedHat 6.0).
