I haven't seen any answers on this list. I suspect that there is no
answer. When your ICQ client contacts the SOCKS server, it sends UDP
packets to it, but the SOCKS server is expecting them on different
ports.
Some sort of protocol module or proxy would be required to handle this.
Here's an idea: Doesn't SOCKS5 have the ability to chain through
another SOCKS5 proxy server? As such, you could set up a SOCKS5 server
on your masq box, and have it talk to the corporate proxy.
My SOCKS5 knowledge isn't as good as I'd like it to be, though, so I
don't know of any existing solutions for this. But I think I will try
to look into it, as it would help me a lot. :)
