/* HINT: Search archives @ http://www.indyramp.com/masq/ before posting! */ Hi all, We run Linux 2.0.36 with ipfwadm running. Our Linuxbox is configured with a dhcpd in order to deliver reserved IPs (192.168.1.0) to hosts on the LAN. In the directory /etc/rc.d there is a file rc.firewall with the following lines : /sbin/ipfwadm -F -p deny /sbin/ipfwadm -F -a accept -m -S 192.168.1.0/24 -D 0.0.0.0/0 A host client in the LAN (192.168.1.0) can get successful access to every services except FTP. When it tries to access a FTP Server throughout the internet, the connection is truncated. That is, after loging in, the user can't execute any command (such as mget, mput, or a single ls) ... Is there a manner to solve this problem ? Any suggestion will be hardly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Ricardo Greco.
