I always get a kick out of people who believe in legislated privacy of
communications. If you want your communications to be private, encrypt
them!

(No offense, it's just that point of view amuses me greatly.)

CIA DDT? What's that?

And unless your ISP has the resources of the CIA and some reason to
want to devote those resources to viewing your encrypted traffic, I
don't see how that's relevant.
