I've got ipmasq running on a Calera 2.2 (col 2.2.5) box, installed per
the current MiniHOWTO. I compiled the required elements into the kernel
for the best speed.
However, FTP doesn't work properly, with problems ranging from "invalid
port" to proper logons to FTP sites, followed by inability to list
directories. FTP clients used are Netscape 4.7, IE5 and CuteFTP.
What I *don't* have on the system is the ip_masq_ftp.o module. The
source (ip_masq_ftp.c) is on the system but I cannot find the .o file
(/sbin/modprobe ip_masq_ftp generates an error message).
There is no reference I could see in menuconfig or xconfig for the ftp
module.
Is there a way to compile it individually?
Must I recompile the kernel and, if so, how do I force compilation of
the ftp module code?
Thanks
Barry
