Okay, just kill me now.  I actually DID get everything working first
try, but you were right, it was the proxy settings.  I had them set
because I was trying to figure out how to do pretty much the same thing
when Box A is in Windows instead of Linux and all I could find were
proxy programs, which I still haven't gotten to work.  Anyone have
experience with this (that we can take outside of this nice Linux list)?
