When I rebooted w/ my new kernel, it still showed all of the unresolved symbol messages, however the modules are working!?! In xconfig, I set the "versions in kernel" thing to off, as it suggested. On the diald front, I now have a functioning dial on demand system operating! I really appreciate your help on all of this stuff. I knew that it could be done, but when a lot of the info you find on the ip-masq site isn't applicable, it's hard to know what is valid and what isn't.
