At approx 1630 Mass DCR announced that there will be a significant weather event between 6PM and ? 10 PM - winds will shift from NW to SW IIRC - gusts may hit 35 MPH - there will be little rain with the wind shift - the Red Flag warning might be extended - they asked for wide dissemination of this info to FDs - especially those fighting outside fires today - fires in fine fuels and steep slopes may be impacted the most
