SPECIAL TOWN MEETING

JUNE 1, 2009

To either of the Constables of the Town of Dighton in the County Of Bristol,

GREETINGS:

In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts you are directed to
notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Dighton qualified to
vote in the elections and Town Affairs to meet in the Dighton-Rehoboth
Regional High School at 2700 Regional Road on the first day of June,
2009 at 7:00 P.M., then and there to act on the following articles:

ARTICLE 1. To hear the reports of the Town Officials and act thereon.

ARTICLE 2. To see if the Town will vote to transfer $22,838.94 from
free cash and $6,908.40 from the Ambulance Fund to pay prior year
bills.

ARTICLE 3. To see if the Town will vote to amend the Dighton Council
on Aging Revolving Fund for services rendered by "PRIME TIME" (Adult
Day Supportive Care) established in Article 17 of the May 27, 2008
Annual Town Meeting to provide for a specific account limit, the
amended Article to read as follows: To establish a revolving fund for
the Dighton Council on Aging "PRIME TIME" (Adult Day Supportive Care)
shall be capped at $105,768.13.

ARTICLE 4. To see if the Town will vote to amend the action of the
Annual Town Meeting on May 27, 2008, in Article 5, to reduce the
following:

ARTICLE 5. To see if the Town will vote to amend the action of the
Annual Town Meeting on May 27, 2008, in Article 9 to provide for a
specific account limit, the amended Article to read as follows:
Dighton Planning Board revolving fund into which shall be paid all
money collect through the sale of subdivision rules and regulation's,
zoning by-law booklets and zoning maps. In addition, all fees
submitted to the Planning Board accompanied with Form A's, Preliminary
Plans, and Definitive Plans established in the Massachusetts General
Laws Chapter 41, Town of Dighton Sub-Division Rules and Regulations;
said monies to be expended from said revolving fund by the Dighton
Planning Board for the advertising and certified mailings of Public
Hearing notices, with proposed subdivisions engineers' fees,
attorney's fees, amendment changes, zoning changes, long and short
term planning purposes and related research, with a spending and end
of year surplus cap of $30,000.00 (thirty thousand dollars), or act
thereon.

ARTICLE 6. To see if the Town will vote to authorize a total
expenditure of $19,408.00 and of that amount $12,430.09 will come from
available funds and $6,977.91 will be transferred from Free Cash to
fund personnel expenses for FY09 for employees covered under the
recently settled Clerical Union Collective Bargaining Agreement as
follows:

ARTICLE 7. To see if the Town will vote to authorize an expense from
available funds in the amount of $7,530.54 to fund personnel expenses
for FY09 for employees covered under the recently settled 911
Collective Bargaining Agreement

ARTICLE 8. To see if the town will vote to authorize an expense from
available funds in the amount of $31,615.16 to fund personnel expenses
for FY09 for employees covered under the recently settled
Firefighter's Collective Bargaining Agreement.

ARTICLE 9. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from the Ambulance
Fund $8,293.21, to fund the expenses for employees covered under the
recently settled Firefighter's Union Collective Bargaining Agreement
as follows:
