Med 7 probably is a ground vehicle- if there is a "Med 7 EMT". I think the
staffing is: Helos= pilot, critical care flight nurse, paramedic. Ground
vehicles= EMT driver, critical care nurse, paramedic. Medflight doesn't
have any EMTs in direct patient care roles (incidents referred to Medflight
are too complex and require more training), but it's dispatchers and drivers
are EMTs. So in the helo, the pilot flies, and the nurse and paramedic tend
to the patient. In ground vehicles, EMT drives, nurse and paramedic tend to
patient. Ground vehicles are in Plymouth and Bedford.
