This is the USA - we have one emergency phone number - that number is
911 - not 912 - not 112 - not 666 - not 913 - not 999 - not 000 - not
00177

If you have just 1 emergency number, then I suspect that the best deal
is to have 1 dispatch center. Maybe there needs to be a hard wall
between call-takers and radio dispatchers. Call-takers need to know
EMD, police call taking, and fire call taking. That is a lot of
call-taking to know.
