Listening to 453.90 this morning - Medic 1 responded to the West Townsend Fire station - there was a child in a van having a seizure - Medic 1 arrived in 12 minutes, and then transported to the hospital. Medic 1 said there was also a full ALS crew in town when they signed on for the call.
I never heard any ambulance on the radio. Is Townsend Medic 1 now using a transport vehicle? Or did I miss something? Was the ambulance already at the scene? Or is a ambulance based at the West Station usually? 12 minutes seemed like a long response time. maybe I confused Medic 1 for Ambulance 1 at some point? 30C did not respond to the call - he reported that he put 12 gallons of gas in his car - maybe they had at least 3 people on duty this morning - Chief + 2 medics?? Anyone know - just wondering. Peter sz -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
