The emission designator shows as 11K2F3E which I took to mean "narrow
band voice" - maybe the designator is wrong - or maybe they are "voice
radio boxes" - and 250 radios would be almost 10 radios per
firefighter on the Concord FD, so that doesnt add up - unless it was
actually a disaster cache of radios or something - 250 radio could
very well be the right number of "radio boxes" for Concord over the
next 10 years - and 2 watts seems a little low for portable radios in
the outer suburbs - thats interesting - "radio boxes", who woulda
thunk it?
