Anybody out there use a HP1 Home Patrol Scanner? I have been doing a little research project. It appears that nearly 30% of all radio channels are missing from the various New England scanner websites and the Radio Reference database. I dont know if this affects the HP1 performance or not. Perhaps 30% of the FCC licensed channels simply are not used. Perhaps the HP1 database is more extensive than the Radio Ref database (although IIRC both databases are reported to be the same). Anybody know?
