Eng 3 on 4th alarm at 1930 - they probably arrived 25 minutes after the first alarm Eng 33 on 5th alarm at 1940 - they probably arrived 35 minutes after the first alarm They were so short of water 35 minutes into the fire that they are ruining brand new cars? Really? Chelsea Eng 2 went to cover on the 7th alarm Winthrop Eng 1 went to cover on the 7th alarm also MassPort never responded to the fire No fireboats responded - no hose wagons for the fireboats (if they have a hose wagon) - no tugboats responded - no aircraft carriers - etc 8th alarm - no mention of the 2 extra Ladders - that might have been screwed up in the CAD Lets do the calculation - MassPort E1 and Chelsea E2 and Winthrop E1 and Revere E1 were closer that X% of Boston units that responded 25% 50%? 75%? Lets not forget all the other MassPort, Chelsea, Winthrop, and Revere units. Just eyeballing the trusty map - my guess is that the mutual aid units were closer than 50% of the BFD units that responded. But hey - lets focus on the BMW at the hydrant. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
