Per the Boston Globe article cited below - >From 1967 to maybe 1976, Massachusetts used Social Security numbers as drivers license numbers. And the drivers license info was made available to various data warehouses. Apparently anyone who was issued a Massachusetts drivers license between 1967 and 1976 should assume that their SS number is freely available out there somewhere.
