As I start to type, West Brookfield Amb gets paged out for a man with
an infection - 2 EMTs sign on in 1 minute - not bad! (Amb rolled in 5
minutes - arrived 6 minutes after page out)

---------------------------------------

C8 New Braintree MSP Dispatch center dispatches for 10 towns. I think
that all PD comms are on 800T - and all fire/EMS comms are on 157.45
154.9125R 154.68

Looking at the other channels licensed by the towns, it seems that not
all of them have a good fire channel of their own. Therefore, all 8
towns must be using the C8 VHF channels. In other words, C8 doesnt
page someone on 157.45, and then have to talk to them on some lowband
channel. (But I might be wrong about that).

In any case - here are the local channels.

Brookfield - 154.7325 - 155.31 - 458.25 FX0

East Brookfield - 33.86 - 45.82 - 155.5275 HT + MO3 - 453.5375 MO3

Hardwick - 33.04 - 39.10 - 154.65 HT + MO3 - 453.5125 FX2 - 453.9625 FX2

North Brookfield - 45.66 - 158.91 HT + MO3 - 45.52 - 153.83 M

Petersham - 151.04

West Brookfield - 39.84 - 153.785 - 154.89 HT + MO3 - 155.8125 R - 158.9325 in

Brimfield - 154.445 R - 158.88 in - 151.0625

Holland - 154.01 - 39.98

Wales - 159.3825 R

New Braintree - expired - 45.12 - 153.965 HT

(lots of local channels there)(a mixture of police, fire, amb, DPW,
maybe schools, and shared channels)

-----------------------------

For the West Brookfield amb call just now - the pageout was heard on
the Brimfield feed and the Wales feed - after that, just the Brimfield
feed had any traffic
