I think that Boston FD has changed their comms procedures. Units still report their arrival at incidents on Channel 1, but they no longer radio their clearance codes or RTQ message to the dispatcher via Channel 1. I suspect that the clearance code and/or RTQ message is being transmitted via MDTs.
