If Medford had a fire in the middle of the night - and they just had 1 engine at HQ covering the entire city - if the crew stayed seated in the pumper - their response time would be as good as having all 6 stations staffed
Because - I am thinking they will save 1 to 2 minutes by having the crew awake and in the engine - and they travel at 60 MPH in the middle of the night - and none of the outlying stations are more than 1 miles from HQ - generally speaking - I have not measured the exact distances -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
