2014 article

I am wondering if this can be tied to NG 911? If I am driving down the
road - and see a fire on the side of a mountain - can I aim my
cellphone at the fire - and see a line drawn on a topo map - that
could give me a possible fix for the fire (or plane crash or whatever
it is)?

Same goes for a person drowning off shore. Could I get a estimated
fix? Could the phone give 2 quick heading in a row and triangulate the
victims location? (the phone user moves 20 feet along the shore
between fix 1 and 2)
