2015 info Historically - all FDs in New York have been on 46 Mhz - except for NYC, Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracue, Monroe County, Oneida County, etc. 46.22 was used as the FG channel (for mobiles) - plus 46.30 (for portables). AFAIK 45.88 was only used for base to base comms between the various county control centers - and maybe by some Chiefs mobiles. here - they seem to say that it is OK to use 45.88 for onscene tac comms as long as 2 different Fds are involved. Podunk and Noweheresville for example. Maybe no one is really using 46 Mhz anymore - and maybe no one really uses 45.88 anymore - so its all moot -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
