vitrual reality chamber will teach tomorrow's engineers - tomorrow ------------------------------------------ Do you think it will ever be possible to get a Bachelor of Science degree in 1 day instead of 4 years? Would not surprise me in the least. I think I told this story before. I struggled thru a whole semester (3 or 4 months - 3 hours per week of classes IIRC - maybe 4 hours - maybe lab class also) of organic chemistry. In the last week or two of classes, the teacher brought in some styrofaom balls and toothpicks to illustrate the action of molecules. Light dawned on Marblehead! It was amazing how much you could learn with $2 worth of teaching supplies. (This was back aroud 1978 - I hope that engineering and science classes are better nowadays - but I dont think they really are) (PS - Dear Arlington Massachusetts - please do not spend $130M to rebuild the high school and technical high school - please spend $1M to buy a dozen of these virtual reality chambers) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
