in the UHF Zones list is - L DIST RPT District Repeaters - BFD16 Input (for use with in-vehicle repeaters)
M DIST RPT District Repeaters - BFD17 Input (for use with in-vehicle repeaters) And we have this following info from the basic freq list BFD 6 District Repeater (West Roxbury) 483.1500 N DPL 073 BFD 7 District Repeater (Brighton) 483.1750 N DPL 054 BFD 8 District Repeater (South End) 483.2000 N DPL 032 BFD 9 District Repeater (East Boston) 483.2250 N DPL 023 BFD 10 District Repeater (Dorchester) 483.2500 N DPL 754 BFD 11D BFD Tactical / Command Channel 486.1500 N DPL 532 BFD 12D BFD Tactical / Command Channel 486.1750 N DPL 351 BFD 13 BFD Tactical / EMS Interop 486.2000 N DPL 243 BFD 14D Boston Fire Tactical 14 486.2250 N DPL 026 BFD 15D Boston Fire Tactical 15 486.2500 N DPL 051 ---------------------------- Note that BFD 11D thru 15D are the same as the input channels to the District Repeaters ------------------------------ I think I just figured it out. We dont really need to know what freqs BFD16 and BFD17 are. They could be any UHF channels. But it seems that the District Repeaters might be single site repeaters with no voted remote receiver sites. Therefore you could put a MO3 to great use with these District Repeater channels. For example - if we are in Dorchester - we xmit on BFD16 - a MO3 in the nearby District Chiefs car picks up the transmission and rebroadcasts out on 486.25 which then goes into the Dorchester District Repeater with a bodacious signal. We then listen to/on 483.25 to hear our bodacious signal - even if we are in the subbabsement of 30 story underground bat cave. Yes that makes sense - if we dont have the money to construct multiple receiver sites for all of the District Repeaters, then lets use a properly configured MO3 to get the job done. yeah - thats the ticket. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
