I just looked thru the 2015 Extrication List - we may have more
candidates for the best helo award -

TX DPS - 15 helos - 3 have hoists

GA - Dahlonega - Army 5th Ranger training Batallion

TN - Knox County Sheriff

DC - US park Police

TN - Highway Patrol

VA - State Police

MN - State Police

CA - NAS China Lake (naval air station)

TX - parks and Wildlife

AL - DPS

(Yuma and Cherry Point Marines are shutting down their rescue helos -
guess they dont get enough business)

WV - Aviation dept

Phoenix Police/fire helo

NM - Bernalillo County Sheriff

TX - Travis County EMS

WY - Jackson - NPS helo

all CalFire helos and all CHP helos have hoists - I did not know that

Yosemite NPS

Sequoia Kings NPS

Ventura County

Santa barbara county

San Bernardino County Sheriff

CA natl Guard Los Alamitos - probably cant due LE ops due to Posse Comitaous Act

Orange County CA

LA County Sheriff - does active shooter

WA - Snohomish County Sheriff

WA - Mt Rainier NPS

all of these helos have hoists but I dont know if they do water bucket
work - that will take some research

there is also a private helo in Michigan and ERa has a rescue helo in
New Orleans - but I doubt they do law enforcement work

My bottom line - if a helo has a hoist - then it is simple to - attach
a bucket - have a medic step on board - have a sniper step on board -
should be simple to have any helo do all operations - but apparently
it aint - or everyone is more interested in protecting their feifdoms
- ????
