they were running Rescue 1 and Rescue 2 yesterday also IIRC Rescue = BLS ambulance with SCBA and fire turnout gear staffed by 2 FF/EMT
usually AFD just runs 1 Rescue with 2 ambs in service, fewer calls will be turned over to the private ambulance service (Armstrong Ambulance) usual procedure is - AFD Rescue goes to first EMS call - Armstrong sends ambulances to any other EMS calls when AFD R1 is not in town and available both R1 and R2 will roll from Highland Station I presume todays dispatch procedure apparently will be - R1 to first EMS call - R2 to 2nd EMS call - Armstrong for any other EMS calls Armstrong also gets requested for some transports to far away hospitals (I think I did a fine job of making a mtn out of a mole hill here) 460.60 is the freq -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
