no mention of the fact that London only has ?5 ladder trucks - maybe
10 - I dont think they tell anyone how many ladders they actually
operate daily

no mention of how much they spend on the Queen every year - maybe $2 billion?

note - London operates 100 fire stations with 150 pumpers and maybe 10
ladders and 10 rescues - with crews of 4 or 5 each IIRC - hard numbers
are very hard to come by even though they publish lots of info on
their website - if that was a USA FD they would probably have 100
pumpers and 50 ladders

note - London has zero quints AFAIK

note - apparently London does not have a snorkel or aerial that can
reach up 20 floors - (Bronto and or Morita sales are probably gonna
boom - and there is another snorkel maker - who was that? - from Korea
maybe?)

do you remember the report that they released about FD response times
- and when I looked at it I could not decipher what they were really
saying? - there seemed to be a one minute discrepancy in their
response times based on the way they were presenting the info - I was
confused on alerting time vs turnout time IIRC - which should be the
same essentially - they have CAD that sends computer voice alerts to
each fire station - remember? - "Mobilse Mobilse Mobilise" - ???
