Posted by: "Robert" trebor1159 APD is pulling 400 of their Ford Interceptors off the streets because of the Carbon Monoxide problem. I think it's when they modify the cars is when there is a problem. Anyway for the time being it's going to be interesting. they will be driving the old Detective Crown Vic cars and most of them are not MDT or computer equipped, meaning most all calls will have to be verbalized and unable to pull up call text. No vehicle tracking, etc So much for their body cameras. Expect to hear a lot more radio traffic but the officers will be doubling up so a lot less cars on the street.
