Boston MedFlight seems to have a extremely crappy radio system. How to
fix it? How to fix it? That is the question.

1. the obvious answer would be to use the statewide 800TRS - but they
have not done that for 20 years - why? - cant the system handle
aircraft? - it can handle MSP helos - why not BMF helos?

2. maybe 2nd best choice would be a private TRS

3. 3rd best choice might be 3 different repeater channels - or 3
repeaters on the same channel (that was their original UHF system on
460.80R)

4. now they are using 2 or more simplex bases on 461.45 with just 1 PL

5. maybe they could use the MEMA VHF highband system with multi
repeaters on multi freqs - or the Forest Fire Net on 151.145 R with
multi repeaters ststewide - or maybe a old MSP 42 Mhz channel

6. they do have satellite phones but I suspect that they are expensive
to use and have many dead spots

7. what other options are available? cellphones? 700 mhz?
