what if we put the LIDAR scanner on a firefighter's helmet and sent the data to the IC - the IC could look at the objects in the room and maybe figure out which one could be human bodies - coupled with infrared and UV detector, I am sure that the IC could pick out all the bodies on the room - and figure the distances to windows and doors and open flames - all while the firefighters start the rescue ops - the IC could concentrate on finding all the bodies as the firefighters concentrate on specific bodies maybe not maybe the IC could more easily see if any bodies were moving - just compare the initial scan to any subsequent scans LIDAR is radar scans using lasers iirc - ie - radar using light instead of emf maybe lidar would not work in smokey conditions ????? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
