note - beginning of video - comms are on a UHF repeater channel - the
V8 channel mentioned is a VHF simplex channel - the helo spoke to the
Patrol 81 via the V8 channel - but you dont hear that here - these are
the normal day to day channels that they use in that area - in other
words - this is what you usually hear in this area from LA County Fire
- except of course it is a more serious incident - but the channels
and radio procedures are used everyday routinely

also note - Battalion 22 is driving himself to the scene and using the
radio at the same time
