afaik - any FD in the USA can upload photos and info to Google Maps most Google Map markers for fire stations already include - lats / longs - street address - link to FD website - telephone number - link to street view or satellite view of station - name of FD - name of station - companies in station (sometimes)
sometimes you will find photos of fire apparatus also - I think those are usually added by civilians or individual firefighters - but I am sure that any FD can add "official" photos if they want to - and they can probably add 1 or 2 lines of info also Google Maps is missing markers for many fire stations in the USA - maybe 25% of them. Anyone can add markers to the Google Maps. I have added some but some never seem to be accepted. Like the Winchester Mass FD west station. Google just flat out refuses to add that station even though they have recent 'close up' Street View of it. Sometimes the Google Map makers are poorly positioned. Maybe that wont get fixed until they get sued for billions because someone died due to a bad map marker.
