from memory the simplest systems have 1 FG channel assigned per box alarm or major incident - dallas and fdny and boston and chicago and houston and austin do this - maybe seattle also - metro dade also - maybe phoenix also - (dallas and chicago and fdny have simplex FG channels) - boston will assign a 2nd FG channel for a working highrise fire
