the simplest systems have 1 FG channel assigned per box alarm or major
incident - dallas and fdny and boston and chicago and houston and
austin do this - maybe seattle also - metro dade also - maybe phoenix
also - (dallas and chicago and fdny have simplex FG channels) - boston
will assign a 2nd FG channel for a working highrise fire

some agencies assign 1 command channel and 1 tac channel per fire -
los angeles and cal fire and san diego and san francisco do this -
philadelphia also maybe

some agencies assign groups of channels per incident - with  an "all
channels TG" included - wash dc + fairfax county va etc - maybe anne
arundel county md and baltimore also
