listening today to Pro Ambulance Service in Cambridge Massachusetts

listened via Broadcastify Calls

from noon to 5 pm ish - heard multi units - Paramedic units were 1, 2,
6, 7, 9, 15, 16, 19, 20 - Ambulances were 10, 18 - also heard 3 and 17
- not sure if they were als or bls

ambulances were sent to mutual aid calls in Arlington and Watertown

the most typical responses were to 911 calls in Cambridge in
cooperation with Cambridge FD - units were expected to switch to the
Cambridge FD EMS response channel when enroute

typical radio terminology includes - "take the response" - "respond and sign in"

"MIT" also was heard responding to a couple of calls - thats the MIT 8
ambulance run by MIT students

one "private response" was heard - meet the Harvard University Police
for a mentally ill person - (presumably no ones name becomes public in
this case - but this was a Section 12 case were a private police force
takes by force a person to a hospital because they are a 'threat' to
themselves or to others)

one ambulance was sent to Emerson Hospital in Concord to pickup a
patient - they can leave Pro HQ and go west on Rte 2 and reach the
hospital in maybe 12 minutes - which aint bad
