saw a YT Short - some doctor said that he takes 10,000 units of
Vitamin D daily - and his blood tests show he has a good level of Vit
D in his blood

he says that 50K units is too much daily

us govt recommends 800 units iirc - so they are way off

probably the only cheap way to be really safe is to look out for signs
of deficiency or toxicity - rickets or ???

=========================

" The main concern of vitamin D toxicity is a buildup of calcium in
the blood. This is called hypercalcemia. Hypercalcemia can cause upset
stomach and vomiting, weakness, and frequent urination. It also can
lead to bone pain and kidney troubles such as kidney stones."

mayo clinic says dont go above 4k units of vit d daily
