Lunenburg FD had a structure fire call - Shirley Eng 4 / 35E4 also responded

at 626 am Lunenburg Eng 4 was sent to Townsend to serve as RIT on the
house fire - Lunenburg Eng 1 took the call for Eng 4

somebody called Mid State Control / D8 Control to request a Fitchburg
Engine to cover the Townsnend HQ - that was at 629 am - Fitchburg Eng
4 was sent

634 am - someone requested a Fitchburg Ladder to the Townsend fire via
D8 - Fitchburg Ladder 1 was sent

the District 8 Fire Investigation Team was paged on the D8 channel to
go to Townsend

Fitchburg Ladder 1 was heard talking on the Mid State channel - its
possible that both FE4 and Fl1 could not reach Townsend FD on the
Townsend channel

the Fitchburg FD dispatcher was also working as the D8 Dispatcher -
same voice on both channels - same as it ever was

8 am Princeton A1 signed on for the day tour

Fitchburg FD did radio test at 8 am - Medic 1 - Medic 2 - Rescue 3 -
Ladder 2 - 311 - 312 - 1201 - 1202 - 1203 - were heard - E4 and L1
were in Townsend so they were not tested

at the Townsend house fire - seems that all radio traffic was on
453.90 R and 453.90 direct - New Ipswich NH was on the freq also

Fitchburg had a 'inside odor of gas' call - they sent 2 engines and 1
ladder and R3 and the Deputy Chief - Channel 2 was the FG channel -
after the call finished, units returned to "Channel 1" - which is
apparently their main channel - but not when they are in Maine - if
ever
