Hi Helene,

I'm no expert, but I may be able to help.  First, can you be more specific
about what you're trying to do?  Have you opened matlab via emacs (using
'matlab-shell') successfully, and are typing 'edit myfile.m' into the
matlab command line?  Or something different?  Second, it may or may not be
relevant, but what OS are you using?
