Hi This is a general question more connected to the underlying DRVS than to matlab. I said, when pushing yesterday, I generated an empty ChangeLog entry. Now git (and hg) allow to rewrite history, but in the case of an public repo it is strongly advised not to do so, because if people have already pulled they need to merge.
Moreover since now the pointer of MELPA goes to the git repo in SF rewriting history might cause unforeseen trouble. Any opinions?
