I am really sorry, I think I tested the new branch quite intensively,
but under Linux (Ubuntu) without any problems. I think Eric either uses
MS Windows or Linux but not Mac. 

Unfortunately we are in the holidays period, so it might take some time
to solve this issue.

If you are acquainted with either git or mercurial, could you try to
bisect this issue[1]? That would be helpful
