I think it's okay to leave them as is. Updating when the files change should be 
simpler and what is legally required.

Oops, I boldly changed the date to 2024 in all files, because it was
easier this way. 😇


Before reverting this back, let me please also check with the ELPA
manager what is the convention there.

If it is as you say then I need to carefully check the log of each file,
and that will take some time.
