Didn't see this earlier and you did not attach the picture this time, but I've seen cut-off labels in some settings when there are negative coordinates in the EPS bounding box. (Not always honored.) Are there? Anyway, it is almost surely a bounding box problem. I think you can use eps2eps to get a new bounding box.
