I'm using matplotlib 0.91.2 on os x 10.5.2, and on all the animation examples i've tried, I don't actually see any animation. The window launches, the wheel spins and then either:
1. I only see the last frame of the animation, if the script leaves it up 2. I don't see anything, and the script quits successfully.
