Looking a little further at this problem it looks like iPython was installed. I mis-interpreted some lines at the bottom. The very bottom one showed [1]. I didn't recognize that as a line prompt. The next question is whether one can accept a complete program. I suspect this is a purely interactive program, and it's total interface is the DOS like console? I see one must use properties of the Window to change its size. I would think there would be a way to make these the same each time? I think there's a tutor for this, so it looks like I need to visit it.
