Dear all I have referred to Mr Phadke paper attached to the mail. In his paper he talks of a voltage stability index V/V0 (section 2.3 in the paper). He say that v is the voltage of the bus at certain load obtained from load flow study. Voltages V0 are obtained by solving the load flow of the system for an identical state but with all the load set to zero.
Hence i created a new case called case30zeroload. All parameters are the same as case30 except for the fact that column 3 and 4 in bus data are zero (i.e Pd and Qd is zero). I then typed the following commands 1) runopf(case30) and then saved the bus voltages 2) runopf(case30zeroload) gave an error numerically failed did not converge in 31 iterations 3) runpf(case30) and then saved the bus voltages 4) runpf(case30zeroload) and then saved the bus voltages now how do i find the index.
