Hello I just installed Octave 3.8 for Windows from http://octave.osuv.de/3.8/windows/ and MatPower 4.1 and performed the test procedure "test_matpower". This was mainly ok except for two tests:
T opf dc mips T opf dc mips sc These two tests created some warning messages like t_opf_dc_mips.......warning: matrix singular to machine precision, rcond = 0 warning: attempting to find minimum norm solution warning: matrix singular to machine precision, rcond = 0 . warning: attempting to find minimum norm solution ok Same warnings came up for the other test. Other calculations seem to work without error messages like the case300, case 9 etc.. Please advise about the significance of those warnings at the test_matpower command.
