how can i calculate current branches in MATPOWER 6

HELLO,
I am Heba, an electrical engineer
this is the first time I use MATPOWER.
I downloaded it, I started to deal with it, it is ok,
i want to know:-
1- how can I calculate the branches current??
2- is there another code for short circuit study, and protection relays??
