Hi MATPOWER users, I just found out that CPLEX, one of the better DCOPF and MOST solvers supported by MATPOWER, has removed their MATLAB interface in the latest version (v20.1), meaning that it will not be possible to support newer versions of CPLEX as a solver for MATPOWER and MOST going forward … unless they change their minds.
Apparently, the developers at IBM have brought back discontinued features based on feedback from users in the past, so please consider up-voting this request. What you can do to help...
