Yup all the machines have been listed in /etc/hosts files.. with FQDN..

what does 'showq' and 'qstat -n1' commands show
are your nodes listed in /etc/hosts or in dns
if they are in /etc/hosts are they listed as fqdn or just the hostnames
without doamin?
