As several of you have pointed out, a few serious bugs exist in version 2.1.0. I am targeting three of them for a 2.1.1 release in the coming days:
1. Mauve 2.1.0 on Mac can not compute alignments, only view alignments. The libgomp dynamic library is missing. 2. When launched from the menu, the Sequence Navigator does not properly highlight search results. It does work when launched from the toolbar binoculars button, however. 3. The aligners leak memory when searching for matches and during recursive anchor search. We are testing fixes for these issues and with luck, a 2.1.1 release which solves the problems will be available soon. In the meantime, Mauve 2.0.0 releases are still available for download.
