The best thing for this is probably the _DNS and BIND Cookbook_
by Cricket Liu (see <http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/dnsbindckbk/>).
I think it was published within the last few days, but you may be
able to find copies at your local technical bookstores.

Alternatively, Men & Mice (the company Cricket works for) has a
program they sell called QuickDNS 4.0. It is actually two components
-- the GUI manager and the back-end server. The GUI component can
also be used to manage the version of named that comes from the ISC
version of BIND (see <http://www.isc.org/products/BIND/>), which is
also shipped by Apple as their version of named. See
<http://www.menandmice.com/2000/2200_quick_dns.html> for more
information about QuickDNS.

This is definitely the easiest way I know of for anyone to manage
their DNS, but it does have the disadvantage that it is a commercial
program (although there is a free limited time trial version).
